I am a gay married man, and am fortunate enough to be the father of four amazing children. My eldest child is my wonderful transgender daughter, Faight. I was present at the births of all my children. I was also present for the "second birth" of my daughter, Faight. I feel very honored that I was invited to be at her side for her gender reassignment surgery. 

As a parent, I love all of my children unconditionally. I happily have chosen to dedicate my life  to something near and dear to me: to champion and serve as an advocate, not only for my wonderful daughter, but for all transgender individuals. 

I have spent over twenty years in the music industry, and I am a published author and photographer. I have lived many of my dreams, and have also faced my own discrimination as a gay man. I have learned to fight for right. I have learned to be strong. And now, I will use my ambitious nature, and my loud voice, to fight for justice, and equality. I will be the voice for a cause near and dear to my heart. 

I am here to be a proxy "father figure" for anyone who needs to feel that love. I am here to fight for your rights, as a fellow human.

I am an openly gay man, who, along with my husband (Justin Nylander), grew very tired of the bigotry, and discrimination that plaques our country, at this time. I believe that everyone should be treated equally...period!

As a gay man, I have faced my own personal shares of discrimination. As a man with a physical disability, I have grown up, knowing what it is like to feel ostracized, and left out. It is a feeling that I would not wish on anyone. 

I have a degree in journalism. It is a degree that, I feel, will benefit this cause greatly. I can use this background, to lobby, and demand the change that this country so greatly needs. I also have a degree in education. I have a natural desire to want to inform others. It is what drives me. Therefore, I am ready to inform others of the great injustice that this world faces, and how change is not only desired, but needed!

It is my belief that everyone should have equality, and freedom. We should not have to live in fear, or worry that our rights may be taken from us, because of WHO WE ARE! America was founded on the principal that it would offer freedom for all. So, I will fight for this right. And I will not stop, until everyone is treated equally: with respect, dignity, and the freedom to be who they are, without fear. 

Deciding to create this non-profit--to campaign for transgender rights--is something that I strongly stand behind. And, I want you to know, if you are reading this, that you are not alone. That you have a voice. And that, together, we can be the change that this country needs.
